What do I need ready for a water purifier installation?
A water line within reach where an inlet valve can be fitted, a power socket near the spot for RO and UV models, a drain point or bucket for the reject water from an RO, and wall space away from direct sun and the gas stove. The technician brings the tools, tests your water and does the fitting.

What the installation covers
Many new purifiers come with free installation by the brand or the seller. If yours does, use that first. We install purifiers bought anywhere, and uninstall and reinstall them when you move.
- TDS test of the water that will feed the purifier

RO, UV or UF: what suits your water
It depends on how much dissolved salt your water carries, measured as TDS. The Indian drinking water standard, IS 10500, sets an acceptable limit of 500 mg per litre. RO removes dissolved salts and suits high-TDS water such as borewell water. For low-TDS treated supply water, UV or UF may be enough. Some RO models have a TDS controller that keeps some minerals in.
The technician tests your water at the visit and tells you what the result means, before fitting.
Questions
Does an RO purifier waste water?
An RO sends part of the water to the drain as reject water, which carries the salts it removed. You can collect it for mopping or cleaning instead of letting it run away.
Can you move my purifier to my new flat?
Yes. We uninstall it carefully, and fit and test it at the new place. Tell us both addresses when you book.
Do I need a separate tap?
Most purifiers have their own outlet tap on the unit. The technician fits a connector on your existing water line to feed it.
