Can you repair a Daikin inverter AC?
Yes. We service and repair Daikin split ACs, including inverter models, at home. Common jobs are cleaning, gas leaks, sensor faults and PCB faults. We are not Daikin's authorised service centre, so if your AC is under Daikin's warranty, check with Daikin's own service first.

Daikin ACs in Kolkata homes
Daikin is an air conditioning company, and in India it mainly sells split ACs, most of them inverter models. Many newer Daikin ACs use R32 gas. The gas type is printed on the sticker on the outdoor unit, and we fill only that gas.

Inverter ACs need careful diagnosis
An inverter AC changes its compressor speed using an electronic board. When it stops cooling, the cause can be the gas, a sensor, the board in the indoor or outdoor unit, or the wiring between them. Changing a board without testing is expensive and often does not fix it.
Our technician checks the pressure, the sensors and the supply first, then tells you what has failed and the price of the repair.
Warranty
We are not Daikin's authorised service centre. If your AC is under Daikin's warranty, Daikin's own service may repair it free, so check that first. For out-of-warranty ACs and routine service, book us. Our work carries 90 days on the work done.
Questions
My Daikin AC blinks a light and will not cool. What should I do?
Switch it off at the wall for a few minutes and try again. If the light still blinks, book a visit. Blink patterns vary by model, so the technician checks the unit itself.
Is R32 gas safe in a home AC?
Yes, when the AC is installed and repaired properly. R32 is mildly flammable, so it is handled with the right tools and kept away from any open flame.
How often does a Daikin AC need gas?
An AC in good order should not need gas at all. If the gas is low, there is a leak to find and fix first.
