What is included in an AC service?
A proper AC service cleans the filters, the indoor coil, the blower wheel, the drain tray and pipe, and the outdoor coil. The technician then runs the AC and checks the cooling. If something is wrong, such as weak cooling or a noisy fan, they tell you what it needs before doing any repair.

What the technician cleans
- Air filters, washed and dried
- Indoor coil, cleaned with water under pressure so the dust comes out of the fins
- Blower wheel, where dust and black mould collect and cause a smell
- Drain tray and drain pipe, flushed so water does not drip into the room
- Outdoor unit coil and fan, cleaned of dust, leaves and bird droppings

Why a service matters in Kolkata
Dust, humidity and long running hours in summer clog the filters and coils fast. A clogged coil cannot pass heat, so the AC runs longer for the same cooling and uses more electricity. A blocked drain is the most common reason an indoor unit starts dripping water.

What you can do between services
Open the front panel and slide out the filters every two weeks in heavy use. Wash them in plain water, let them dry fully in the shade, and put them back. Keep the outdoor unit free of boxes, plants and covers so it can throw out hot air. Do not spray water into the indoor unit yourself, because the electrical parts sit right next to the coil.

Questions
Is gas refilling part of a service?
No. A service is cleaning and checking. If the cooling is weak after cleaning, the technician checks the gas pressure and tells you if there is a leak. A gas refill is a separate job, quoted before it is done.
Will the service make a mess?
The technician uses a cover bag under the indoor unit to catch the dirty water. Keep the area under the AC clear of furniture and electronics before the visit.
Do you service inverter and window ACs?
Yes. We service split ACs, inverter and fixed speed, and window ACs of most brands.
Can I get regular services on a contract?
Yes. An annual maintenance contract covers planned service visits through the year. The price is On quote.
